Comment For Poltergeist Full Movie En Francais

Name : Drew Hunt / Alias : Chicago Reader
Director Gil Kenan ruins the pacing with too many half-baked, awkwardly staged horror set pieces, but the cast acquit themselves well enough.

Name : Neil Genzlinger / Alias : New York Times
The new "Poltergeist" might well be the scariest movie 13-or-unders have yet seen, just as the original was for their parents back in 1982.

Name : Clark Collis / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
Poltergeist does benefit from briskness-it's actually 20 minutes shorter than Hooper's film-and there is a nice, Evil Dead 2-esque sequence involving a power drill.

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
This remake is over 20 minutes shorter than the original "Poltergeist," and it saved most of that time by sacrificing the beginning and end.

Name : Justin Lowe / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Leaving behind the youth-skewing perspectives of Monster House and City of Ember, director Gil Kenan not only delivers on the promise of Hooper's Poltergeist, but significantly raises the stakes for similar PG-13 fare.

Name : Alonso Duralde / Alias : TheWrap
This new spooky-house chiller never escapes the shadow of its predecessor, but it also pales next to the scores of subsequent movies - "The Conjuring," "Insidious," and "Paranormal Activity" - that already stripped the original "Poltergeist" for parts.

Name : Alan Scherstuhl / Alias : Village Voice
Poltergeist 2015 is to Poltergeist '82 what today's shipped-frozen-to-the-store Pizza Hut dough is to the kneaded-on-site pies the chain's stoned cooks tossed in the Reagan era.

Name : Eddie Goldberger / Alias : New York Daily News
It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but Poltergeist is a solid, surprisingly effective chiller that's respectful towards its 1982 predecessor while acquitting itself as a proficient update.

Name : Tirdad Derakhshani / Alias : Philadelphia Inquirer
It's not exactly a scary film, but it does provide an enjoyable ride. It's good fun. But it left me befuddled. A little sad. And a little angry.

Name : Tom Huddleston / Alias : Time Out
This has more in common with slick, audience-goosing modern spookers like 'Insidious' than with Hooper & Spielberg's imaginative original.

Name : Andrew Barker / Alias : Variety
[A] professionally executed yet bloodless film . an act of homage that hews reverently to its source material while missing the essential spirit and vitality that once powered it.

Name : Randy Cordova / Alias : Arizona Republic
The original film was promoted with the tagline "It knows what scares you." If there was a truth-in-advertising law regarding films, this movie's ad copy would read: "Poltergeist: Meh."

Name : Bilge Ebiri / Alias : New York Magazine/Vulture
This new Poltergeist isn't anything special . But it's not a travesty, and that feels like cause for brief celebration.

Name : Kyle Smith / Alias : New York Post
Just as the original was one of the scariest PG movies ever, the reboot has about as much gruesomeness as you can possibly stuff into a PG-13.

Name : Linda Barnard / Alias : Toronto Star
There are some jumps but few legitimate scares, unlike director Tobe Hooper's original, which, although similarly bloodless, still stands as one of the scariest movies ever made.

Name : James Berardinelli / Alias : ReelViews
There's little doubt that nostalgia played a part in Fox's decision to remake Poltergeist, but that's a poor reason for any film's existence and no excuse for how uninspired Gil Kenan's re-imagining of this one turned out.

Name : A.A. Dowd / Alias : AV Club
The comedy, as expected, is scattershot.

Name : Scott Foundas / Alias : Variety
In its own, sweetly subversive way, this might be just the tolerance plea America needs right now - a movie that says, in effect, "Love thy plushie as thyself."

Name : Tony Hicks / Alias : San Jose Mercury News
I didn't want to laugh. I swear. But I did laugh at "Ted 2." A lot.

Name : Michael Phillips / Alias : Chicago Tribune
I've seen worse comedies this year, and I'll see better.

Name : Chris Nashawaty / Alias : Entertainment Weekly
You realize what it must be like to be trapped in detention with a bunch of 15-year-old boys who think there's nothing more hilarious than repeating the same jokes about porn, pot, and pulling your pud over and over again. It's funny, until it's not.

Name : Stephanie Zacharek / Alias : Village Voice
I laughed and laughed at Ted 2 - as I did at the 2012 Ted - and I can hardly tell you what that says about me, let alone about you.

Name : Frank Scheck / Alias : Hollywood Reporter
Ted's Boston-accented zingers are expertly delivered by the director/star, whose voice talent is undeniable, and Wahlberg again demonstrates that he's skilled at comedy . Seyfried proves adept as well .

Name : Stephen Whitty / Alias : Newark Star-Ledger
Sure, MacFarlane can write simple jokes as long as the 'f' key on his laptop holds out. Some of them are even funny. But a lot of them don't pay off, and most trod the same well-worn territory - potheads, practical jokes, politically-incorrect cliches.

Name : David Ehrlich / Alias : Time Out
MacFarlane's preference for quantity over quality results in a lot of dead air, but the gags that land are howlers, and all of its crudeness (and racism, and sexism, and homophobia, etc.), the movie beats with a real heart.

Name : Alan Scherstuhl / Alias : Village Voice
Detestable even as it's charming and ingratiating.

Name : Mick LaSalle / Alias : San Francisco Chronicle
MacFarlane is cynical, but he's not a cynic, and there are moments in "Ted 2" where you can sense a longing for the gentler and more upbeat entertainment of an earlier generation.

Name : Lindsey Bahr / Alias : Associated Press
In an admirable effort to go a different route, MacFarlane has instead done something hopelessly bizarre: He's given his film too much sincerity and story, and it practically crushes whatever fun does exist.

Name : Dan Callahan / Alias : TheWrap
Bad taste needs to be more honest and more all-inclusive if it's to make a lasting impression, and MacFarlane's bad taste here is both too wishy-washy and too knee-jerk cruel to really make any impact.

Name : Jacob Hall / Alias : New York Daily News
Once again, you will believe that a talking CGI stuffed animal can be a racist, hateful monster with no redeeming qualities . but his greatest sin is that he's not funny.

Name : Bill Goodykoontz / Alias : Arizona Republic
The film, like most of MacFarlane's work, is a mix of occasional laugh-out-loud moments - there are some here - and cringe-worthy misfires that play a lot more tone-deaf than he seems to intend.

Name : Cary Darling / Alias : Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com
The uneven and overly long Ted 2 manages to find moments of uproarious, if raunchy and groan-inducing, humor from today's hot-button headlines. At its best, it's better than Ted 1.0. At its worst, it's like, well, a Seth MacFarlane movie.

Name : Soren Anderson / Alias : Seattle Times
In the midst of comedy, seriousness. The combination feels forced. A more disciplined and smarter director might have been able to successfully blend the two elements, but crude dude MacFarlane hasn't the skill to bring it off.
